I went to the mall yesterday.
As I was walking out of Bergners, I saw my grandparents. Sitting on a bench. Holding a Gloria Jeans coffee drink with two straws sticking out. Sharing life together, just like they have for the past 60 years.
I want to be just like them when I grow up!

Sorry I missed you yesterday, my mom is visiting and everything seems to get hectic when she is around. I intended on coming and when I finally got around to looking at the clock it was 7:30. Again I am sorry.

if you ask grandpa about it he'll tell you that grandma's too embarrassed to drink out of two straws at the same time. so he drinks it fast and then she get's nervous that there won't be enough left for her. so THEN she'll drink at the same time as him just to get her fair share. he's very proud at how sly he is at being romantic with his wife in public. too sweet.
we have quite the heritage, girls! (um, that last comment was directed to mego and james)

And I love that your other sister commented so I could spy on her blog and see the missing piece to why you two look nothing alike...because you both look like her! How crazy is that?
