As much as I hate to admit it, summer is flying by at gargantuan speeds. The start of school is on the horizon, which I don't want to talk about... not yet anyway!
On the plus side, the start of school means that my small group bible study gals will start meeting again. And, that is something to look forward to!
Which brings me to my question: We don't know what we are going to study.
Last year we went through Beth Moore's Daniel study. It was amazing.
This year when the topic of "what bible study are we going to do" comes up, no one has any strong feelings, or even specific ideas, which makes it kind of hard to make a decision.
And we kind of need to make a decision soon if we want to to start meeting again at the end of August/beginning of September.
So, do you have any ideas for us? What are some bible studies that have had a positive impact on your life?
We are wide open for suggestions!

i LOVED the daniel bible study...i did it awhile back.
i just started on beth moore's esther.
i'm only one week in...but so far so good!! :D
hope things are going well for you! miss you!
probably the most impactful study i've done since being married was the 'breaking free' one from beth moore. but i'm thinking you might have already done that. i just started the 'stepping up' one by her, and i like it. but then i usually like hers. :)
We just did Beth Moore's Esther and thought was fantastic.
Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World was great for our group.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss - SEEKING HIM.
Short but thorough daily lessons, well thought through, very obviously the work of great prayer and preparation on the part of the authors.
My group just finished Beth's Stepping Up too. We loved it and it's not quite as intense as her other studies. We are about half way through Living Beyond Yourself The Fruit of the Spirit which is also very good.
This is a totally different style of bible study, but I really like IVP's series on spiritual disciplines...

We are doing a Kay Arthur study on Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther. It is an inductive study - not many people are sick like me and love inductive studies, but it is really good and worth it!! How long was the daniel study? I'd love to do that one! BTW have you seen this on Daniel's timeline?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1bkB1nShSU
Interesting....
Mego~
We are almost done with Beth Moore's Esther! Would totally recoommend it!! Did you know that you can download the videos for only $6 a piece.(x 10 of course)We did Paul without the video but it isn't even close to the same. The movie sessions are very expensive though...so...we looked into the downloads. Someone has to drag the laptop each time but it has been GREAT!!
