Successful and Not-so-Successful

We had our first victory in the potty-training arena! One twin, who will remain nameless, went pee in the potty! Unfortunately, as we were celebrating, the other twin, who will also remain nameless, had an accident. Apparently, identical twins pee at the same time. This potty training thing could be more difficult than I originally thought. I wonder if I can convince Kory to put a second toilet in the kid's bathroom. :)

Hilarious! I can only imagine the competition that is taking place! I feel sorry for the little guy who got too excited about his brother's success and wet himself. You got to give him some credit for "rejoicing with those who rejoice."

Actually, he wasn't celebrating with us, he was playing with trains in his room!

Hey Megan-
do you need to another potty chair. We have one that is designed for boys and do not need it. You are welcome to it.

Thanks for the offer Katie, but I'll pass. I don't like using the potty chairs because then I have to clean them out!

Good luck with this! My twin boys are six now, and I still vividly remember the two weeks that were "potty training in a day."

It was on a Saturday that they turned the corner. I was at the movie theater, thinking to myself, "ALL of these people can successfully use the toilet..." and my husband was home with the boys and it just clicked. No accidents.

I think it was just having a fresh, patient voice. Of course, my husband likes to tell people that HE potty trained the boys in an afternoon...

Good luck!!

Why would you need two toilets? My boys used to use the same one at the same time. :)
